Playmobil Large Barn

I have known of Playmobil for years. Who hasn’t? I remember playing with Playmobil’s products when I was a kid and now my kids have the fun opportunity to have fun, first hand, with Playmobil and their latest products!

We were given the chance to check out some of the latest products from Playmobil’s 1.2.3. line. Available at specialty retailers nationwide, this unique line allows younger children to explore the world of Playmobil. With brighter colors and large rounded pieces, the 1.2.3. product line is designed for toddlers’ hands, and allows children ages 18 months and up to exercise their imaginations and engage in open-ended play. The simplicity of play and ease of construction also make the 1.2.3. products a great choice for parents of children with special needs.

We had the chance to check out the fun Playmobil Barn. The kids love it and I have to say that of all the toys the kids have, this one is played with on a daily basis. The age range starts out at 1 ½ years, but my 5 year old has a blast with it! Kambry is almost 3 and she has fun putting the barn together and making up stories as she plays.

Tucker is 5. Kambry will be 3 in October. I cannot tell you how many hours a day the Playmobil Farm is played with. The kids make up so many fun stories when they play with it. Kambry loves to put the beds on top and the ‘kids’ take naps while she organizes the farm animals. So cute! Here’s a video of Tucker playing with it.

The farm animals are adorable, as is the furniture that comes with the set. The windows and doors all work; open and close. What I, as a parent, love about this set is that the entire barn holds all the animals, furniture, people and it all folds up to hold everything inside for easy storage. We have a playroom that has bins for everything the kids play with, so having the ability to fold everything up inside the Playmobil Farm is a great feature!

The price is just under $55.00. Would I pay that for a gift for my own kids or someone else? Absolutely I would! I have spent at least that, or more, on a gift for a friend or relative. I know that the kids would love this as a gift, as well as the parents would appreciate that everything folds up inside the barn.
