Our thoughts

Size

The Microsoft Touch Mouse is small in size, but not too small to fit in the hand. I love that it’s sleek and feels nice while using it.

Installation

Once you plug in the transceiver in one of your open USB ports on your laptop, or on your main PC. Once that is in, a window will pop up letting you know that a software is being installed to your computer. Once that is installed, your computer will then recognize the mouse.

Tutorial

With the pop up, you will also have an option to do a walk through tutorial on how to use the mouse itself. By using your fingers and even your thumb, you can ‘sweep’ your way through windows, organization of your windows and navigate smoothly around the windows that you have open.

Storage

When the mouse isn’t in use, the USB transceiver stores inside the mouse. I love this because when I travel, I like to take my mouse with me and there have been so many times that I have lost my USB transceiver. This storage is genius!

Use

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really like the Microsoft Touch Mouse. When I am in the living room doing some work to be around the family, with my old mouse, each click seems to get louder and louder. With the touch mouse, the clicks are silent. The sweeps of use are amazing and a is a technical genius creation. Instead of using one finger for the click, you are literally using 4 with multiple uses for sweeps and clicks making the work and navigation easier to get around.

Overall, I love the Microsoft Touch Mouse! I love everything about it and love that it has an interactive tutorial so that you can learn or do a refresher on the touch mouse. The price is a bit higher than I have paid for a mouse in the past, however you are able to do so much more with the mouse to make your work more effective and easier, so I do feel that the price is worth what all you get.

One word:

Love!

It was so easy to put together. It came with 4 legs, the main section, screws and instructions.

I put the legs on and it was literally ready to go. The wood that is inside really does look real.

Not lit:

How pretty is this in the darkness?

I love our Redcore Infrared Electric Fireplace Stove because we can use it for looks when it’s not so cold or we can turn the heat on low or crank it up to high to heat up the space.

We have a 2 story 1900 home with a full sized basement. We have central air and heat on the main level, but with our Midwestern winters, it’s nice to be able to have heat accessible for upstairs and in the basement. With it’s size and weight, we can easily carry the Redcore 15602 S-2 Infrared Electric Fireplace Stove upstairs to heat when the temperatures are very cold, or we can carry it downstairs to the basement where our main shower is and where my office is to heat when we need it as well.

The kids are loving having a spot to cozy up and read, play or even play games on the iPad.

Even our kitty, Milano, is a huge fan of the Redcore Infrared Electric Fireplace Stove.

Overall, we LOVE our Fireplace stove! The cost is very well worth the $259 for all that you get and for as much heat as it puts out. We are looking at getting a second for our basement so I won’t have to freeze when I am in my office in the cold winter months.

One minor technical hiccup our testers found is that the doll doesn’t always differentiate correctly between a kiss, touch, or popsicle on the mouth, so she may give you a kiss when you mean to elicit the tickle response. Additionally, the boo-boo light on the knee didn’t illuminate consistently.

Automatic Sleep Mode Saves Battery Power

One nice feature is that the doll will go into sleep mode if she’s left alone for more than a minute or two. Sitting her up and then laying her down again wakes her up.

Our thoughts:

I love this doll. Kambry (age 4) loves this doll. I love seeing her nurture, talk to and take care of her doll. She named her Avery, after her baby cousin. While the doll itself is cute as can be, I would like to see a more huggable doll. Her body is hard, her arms are hard, her legs are hard, yet her legs do move with a joint like movement. She is very interactive and that is a huge plus from a parents’ perspective. ‘Avery’ AKA: Little Mommy My Very Real Baby Doll, is able to hold her popsicle by herself by the magnets that are inside her hands. She is interactive with so many sayings (over 150), she will ask for her teddy bear and your little one can feel like she is actually the mommy. Overall, we love the Little Mommy My Very Real Baby Doll and highly recommend it to any little mommy in your life!

Kambry LOVES Alphie Databots! She has Deci-Bot. She has fun giving him high fives and counting down to the questions that he asks. He is pretty basic and great for just about any age of child. Even our 6 1/2 year old enjoys playing with him. As his fingers light up, the child counts down. He will even do addition and subtraction while the fingers light up & count down with you. Very cute to add as a stocking stuffer or a gift. My only complaint as a parent is that while there is a volume (high/low) it is still very loud.

She likes looking at the map to see what houses she is about to go to next. She is still venturing through the game and I, as a parent, love watching her interact with the characters on the game. The game itself comes with a miniature Lalaloopsy doll and I have noticed that she brings it to real life with her own Lalaloopsy.

Overall, we highly recommend Lalaloopsy ‘Sew Magical! Sew Cute!’ for Nintendo DS to any little girl this holiday season.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I LOVE this screwdriver! The price is MSRP $33.54 and very much worth every penny! I love this first off because it saves so much room in your toolbox. I went to count all the different screwdrivers that we currently have in our tool box and I lost count at 21. Why have so many different individual pieces when you can save so much room with just ONE piece. LOVE LOVE this!

I surprised hubby with this when he got home. I am currently repainting my living room, so pardon the lack of curtains. Within the package, you get a HappiTap., a foam pad in case you have a newer generation iPod (to prevent the iPod from being loose within the HappiTap itself), as well as a plastic ring making it easier to carry, travel with or even clip on the back of a car seat or even on an infant car seat handle. Kambry loves to have this on so that she can clip it on her backpack when we travel.

All you have to do is slip the iPod touch in the back portion of the HappiTap, download the free app and you are literally ready to go.

The free app has so many features on it, but you are able to upgrade for just 99 cents and open more features, like more stories, to HappiTaps.

How cute is he??? I love that it’s small in size, yet keeps the iPod touch padded on case it is dropped. My ONLY suggestion for HappiTaps would be to make the face insert a just a tiny bit wider and taller so that it’s easier to slide your finger over the option drop menu, as well as to see the home button on the iPod itself.

Our thoughts:

I really like the overall concept of the 3M Privacy iPad screen. I like that it protects my screen from dirt and scratches and I love that it is a privacy screen. I have used it while sitting next to people and they cannot see my screen unless it’s vertical.

It was very easy to install.

When you get it, the directions are very easy to read and understand.

It comes with the screen protector itself and a cleaning cloth.

Take the cleaning cloth and clean the screen before you start attaching the privacy screen.

Once your iPad screen is clean, start by taking the corner and peel it back.

Start with a corner and start applying the screen. I will admit that this thing is a buggar to get the bubbles out of, but once it’s on, it’s very nice and you cannot see any bubbles in the screen.

This is a view from my looking down at it from the side. Already, the screen is dark for privacy, however if you are directly in front of it, it is clear.

My only down fall to the 3M Privacy iPad screen is that you have to buy the vertical OR the horizontal screen. In other words, you only get privacy on one direction, not all around. It is weird to get used to, but overall I really like it. My mother did make a comment while I was visiting her. She was trying to peek over my shoulder and look at something on my iPad and she said “I can’t see a damn thing!’” So, it works! LOL! I do recommend the 3M Privacy iPad screen, especially for those that travel a lot.
